EMeye Privacy Policy

EMeye is an EMI and loan tracker. This policy explains what happens to the information you enter in it.
What EMeye stores
The loans you add (name, amount, interest rate, tenure, start date, fees, and the borrower's name if you track a loan for someone else), which EMIs you've marked paid, and your app settings (theme, currency, reminder time).
Where it's stored
Only on your device, in the app's private storage. EMeye has no account, no server, no analytics, no ads and no internet permission, so it cannot send your data anywhere.
Backups and exports
- Back up / Export create a file only when you ask, saved to a location you choose through Android's file picker. What happens to that file afterwards is up to you.
- Android device backup: if Android's own backup is turned on (Settings → Google → Backup), Android may include EMeye's data in your device backup, encrypted and tied to your Google account. This is controlled by Android and your Google account, not by EMeye.
Permissions
- Notifications: requested only if you turn on EMI reminders in Settings, and used to show a reminder before an EMI is due.
- Run at startup: re-schedules your reminder after the phone restarts. It doesn't show or collect anything.
Sharing
EMeye does not collect, share or sell any personal data.
Deleting your data
Delete a loan in the app, or uninstall EMeye (or clear its storage in Android Settings) to remove everything.
Children
EMeye is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
